A colour challenge with The Greeting Farm

Today is the start of the September monthly challenge over at Kit and Clowder. We have a colour challenge for you this time around, and we are kindly sponsored by The Greeting Farm, generously offering a $25 gift voucher to their store! Here is the colour palette inspiration. Pick one of the two palettes, and then pick whichever colours from the palette inspire you (you don't need to use every colour).

Sugared Tones by Design Seeds

Candied Red by Design Seeds

I decided to work with the Sugared Tones (pink and turquoise) using Dollie With Bow from The Greeting Farm. It is no secret that I am not a fan of pastels, so I transformed it a little bit by using brights and lots of black for contrast. The sentiment is by Create With TLC - they have some really great ones that crack me up, and lots of freebies too! The butterfly paper is the negative cut from a different project with some embossed pink spotty DP layered behind. The die cut I got in a little packet from a recent craft show and butchered to fit my design. Flowers and stars are from Wild Orchid Crafts, rhinestones from KaiserCraft and lightbulb transparency from Maya Road (love these!)
